I’ll come right out and say it. There isn’t much else to do in Pisa than watch the leaning tower of Pisa and all the people taking pictures of it and next to in various states of imitation. Okay, maybe there’s the Opera museum right in the vicinity of the tower but other than that – not that much to do! If you feel differently or know something I missed please let me know in the comment section. So without further ado, I present you ten exhibits of humanity in all its creative and conformative glory.
Pisa was a 4-hour pit-stop while we were enroute to the Liguria region from Florence so other than the gelato we had, I do not have any beat list, restaurant nor hotel recommendations for this city.
Next up: My Italian summer: Part three – The Cinque Terre.
I love Pisa so much… The most convenient trip is to plan a day (or even a half day) and go directly by train or bus (1h and half) to Florence, for the ultimate Italian experience!
