Tripping with: TV Host and Actress Carly Steel

What I love most about LA is its diversity; there really is something for everyone! Beach, mountains, city, town…you name it, L.A. has it. My favorite spot is the Chateau Marmont because it really encapsulates old Hollywood glamour, and there’s always an interesting crowd there. I love the new Nobu Malibu too; Executive Chef Gregorio Stephenson has done an incredible job with the menu and it’s right on the beach so you can eat fabulous sushi with the waves almost crashing on your table.

Celebrity Travel Files: Myleene Klaas, Venice Beach, Los Angeles

Perez Hilton, or Mario Lavandeira, hardly needs any introduction. Love him or hate him, he changed the face of blogging in general and celebrity gossip blogging in particular when he launched in 2004. Since then, the site has grown by leaps and bounds, currently attracting an incredible 2 million readers each month. His success allows him to regularly explore the world, having been to Turkey, Israel, and India in the past year.

Exclusive: Tripping with Dita Von Teese

Dita Von Teese started her career as a stripper called Heather Sweet in one of Los Angeles many bikini clubs. The former blond girl from a farming town in Michigan rose to international prominence in the early 2000s, in part due to her marriage to and subsequent divorce from Marilyn Manson, but largely thanks to her Hollywood Golden-era look and burlesque routines. Last week, the 39-year old queen of burlesque was in London to launch her fragrance Dita Von Teese at Liberty London. Luxury Travel Beat caught up with her to talk to her about her extensive travels.
